Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Brief submission guideline:

  1. The journal invites experts, researchers, and students to contribute the result of their studies and researches (library and field research) in the areas related to Islamic studies, Muslim society, Human Rights, children, social cultural on gender perspective.
  2. Articles should be original (The authenticity of the script) , research-based, unpublished and not under review for possible publication in other journals.
  3. Manuscript should be typed in MS document format with Times New Roman, size 12 pts, one and a half space, A4 paper roughly 15 to 20 pages. All manuscripts should be sent to website: www.journal.uin.suska.ac.id/index.php/marwah/index  or email address: jurnal.marwah@uin-suska.ac.id
  4. The article should be written in Indonesian and English. The title of the article is written not more than 16 words. The title of the article, the name of author and co-authors, email address, and institution are on the top of article.
  5. Abstract must not more than 150 words, Garamond italic 12pt, and 3-5 keywords. Abstract should be written in Indonesian and English. The abstract of research paper should contain purpose, method, and research finding.
  6. Full research papers have broad relevance and contribute something new in issue of Islamic studies, Muslim society, Human Rights, children, social cultural on gender perspective. It includes:
  • Introduction: to explain the theoretical background, related research, the practical  applications and the nature and purpose of the article.
  • Methods: to describe the participants the materials the procedures employed in the study such as treatment(s) and data analysis.
  • Results: to explain the result of the study which discuss the previous studies and the related theories.      
  • Conclusion: to present the main of the result.
  • The article must not in bullets and numerics format.
  • References: References are listed in alphabetical order. Each listed reference is cited in text. It must be in APA style.

7. All submitted papers are subject to review of the editors, editorial board, and blind reviewers.

8. The editors reserve the right to reject manuscripts that are not in accordance with this guideline.
